Roadmap to e-Yantra: Robotics & Embedded Systems

πŸš€ Navigating the e-Yantra Student Selection Process: Your Path to Robotics and Embedded Systems Excellence!

Greetings, future innovators!
Are you ready to dive into the world of Robotics and Embedded Systems? The e-Yantra Lab Setup Initiative (eLSI), an initiative by the Ministry of Education (MoE) under NMEICT, is your gateway to gaining hands-on experience and becoming industry-ready.

One of the most vital steps in this transformative journey is the student selection process. This guide walks you through everything you need to know to get started!

πŸ”Ή Step 1: The Nomination Process – How Students Are Chosen

  • Up to 30 students can be nominated by each college.

  • 10 students per institute will ultimately be selected for training.

  • e-Yantra encourages diverse nominations from different disciplines to create a collaborative learning environment.

Once nominated, students move on to the next phase: the online selection test.

Step 2: The e-Yantra Online Selection Test – Your Gateway to Success

To choose the final 10 students, e-Yantra conducts an MCQ-based online test that evaluates knowledge in core domains relevant to embedded systems and robotics.

Step 3: Post-Selection – Training and Beyond

After the selection test:

  • 10 shortlisted students (no replacements allowed) and 4 faculty membersΒ

  • The training covers:

    • Embedded Systems

    • Microcontroller Programming

    • Simulation-based learning (No hardware required)

  • Each participant gets 1-year access to the training portal.

🌟 Exciting News!
In addition to online training, this year offers a limited opportunity for selected students to attend hands-on sessions offline at IIT Bombay β€” one of India’s premier institutes!
